Keep the Dream Alive.

Christmas time is the time for loving family, making friends, and most of all, spending all your liquid funds.  It never fails, I've spent too much on Christmas gifts again this year.  That's the real lesson here.  

If Jesus were here today he wouldn't be advocating all of this spending...would he?

Would he be walking through our malls saying, "yes my children, spend more...in my name!"

I don't think he would be.  I think he would saying something like..."This isn't what I intended this holiday to turn into."

Because, after all, Jesus DID invent Christmas.  That was his main input to society in his time on earth.  He also made the crucifix popular I think.  

He didn't mean for it to be a spending holiday, though.  Although, this year some people can't spend any money this year, as unemployment is at a high.

Good Riddance.
